The Sustainable Energy Europe Campaign has come to an end. The new phase of the Campaign will concentrate on its main activity, namely the EU Sustainable Energy Week, including its Energy Days, and the annual Sustainable Energy Awards Competition.
More than 1,500 sustainable energy projects have now joined the SEEC and benefited from wide media coverage and a broad public outreach. It remains important to promote high quality projects but given the rapidly growing number of good sustainable energy projects in the EU, the scope and structure of the SEEC projects database must be simplified. Therefore, the separate categories of Campaign and Award Projects will cease to exist. Only those projects which are selected as winners of the annual Sustainable Energy Awards Competition will be promoted through the website and permitted to use the special logo of Campaign supporters.
