Intelligent energy production and consumption are key strategies to successfully fulfilling the EU's commitment to change the energy landscape. The Sustainable Energy Europe Campaign 2005-2008 will contribute to the achievement of EU energy policy goals and targets in the field of renewable energy sources, energy efficiency, clean transport and alternative fuels.
The conference offers you, as a key energy actor, the opportunity to learn first-hand on the most recent developments of the EU intelligent energy policy and to share your views on ways towards sustainable energy patterns for Europe with representatives from the European Institutions as well as with other key stakeholders from both the public and private sector.

This event, designed to spread best-practice, stimulate investment and raise the awareness of decision makers and the public, aims to attract high level participants from the spheres of industry, technology, business, policy making and research from across Europe.

Public transport is available from Brussels Airport (Zaventem) to the conference venue. To travel by bus, take airport line no 12 to Rond-point Schuman (close to R�sidence Palace) or take the train to Schuman railway station (change at Bruxelles Nord or Bruxelles Centrale). From within the city, travel either by metro line 1 to Schuman or by city busses no 12, 21, 28 or 36.
