Sustainable Energy Europe is a European Commission initiative in the framework of the Intelligent Energy - Europe Programme, which will contribute to achieve the European Union's energy policy targets within the fields of renewable energy sources, energy efficiency, clean transport and alternative fuels.

EU Sustainable Energy Week 2008

The 2nd EU Sustainable Energy Week, EUSEW 2008, took place in Brussels, Belgium and in other cities across Europe from Monday 28 January until Friday 1 February 2008. Covenant of Mayors

The Covenant was conceived and developed within the co-operation platform of the Sustainable Energy Europe Campaign. It will gather European cities that commit themselves to taking the lead in fighting global warming. A prestigeous signature ceremony will be held in February 2009, in the framework of the next European Sustainable Energy Week.
